DRESS CODE: THE GREAT GATSBY / 1920s INSPIRED
The dress code is not mandatory but we would absolutely love it if you joined the theme! Think a little sparkle, black & gold, pearls, feathers, suspenders, bow ties… whatever brings a touch of the 1920s to the dance floor.
Contribution: 10 EUR per person

We organize our events as a non-profit association, and the contribution helps us cover the costs

A wardrobe will be available for our guests. Please note that the organizers cannot assume liability for personal belongings.

Was passiert, wenn wir Tango intensiver erforschen?

Stage Tango ist mehr als eine Choreografie - und auch nicht nur etwas für die Bühne.
Es ist eine Möglichkeit, tiefer in den Tango einzutauchen, ihn bewusster zu verstehen und den eigenen Tanz weiterzuentwickeln.

Wir arbeiten intensiv an
Verbindung
Technik
Präzision
Musikalität
Ausdruck und Präsenz

...und daran, wie all diese Elemente miteinander verbunden sind.

Dabei geht es nicht darum, möglichst viele neue Figuren zu lernen.
Es geht darum, mehr zu verstehen, mehr zu spüren und bewusster zu tanzen.
Wie entsteht Spannung?
Wie wird Musik zu Bewegung?
Wie kann eine kleine Veränderung plötzlich einen großen Unterschied machen?
Wie können wir als Paar klarer kommunizieren und gemeinsam interpretieren?

Durch die intensive Arbeit wächst nicht nur eure Stage-Tango-Choreografie - euer Tango insgesamt kann dadurch eine neue Tiefe bekommen.

Und: Es darf anstrengend sein.
Wir arbeiten konzentriert, bewegen uns viel, werden fitter - und haben dabei jede Menge Spaß.

Für wen?
Für Tangueras und Tangueros auf Intermediate/Advanced Niveau, die ihren Tango nicht nur tanzen, sondern noch besser verstehen und erleben möchten.

Neugierig, aber noch nicht sicher?
Du kannst den ersten Kurstag für 35 Euro kennenlernen.
Wenn du danach weitermachen möchtest, werden die 35 Euro vollständig auf die Kursgebühr von 280 Euro angerechnet.
So kannst du erst einmal erleben, wie sich diese intensive Art zu arbeiten für dich anfühlt.

What happens when we explore tango more deeply and intensely?

Stage Tango is more than choreography - and it is not only about performing on stage.
It is a way to go deeper into tango, understand it more consciously and develop your own dance.

We will work intensively on
Connection
Technique and precision
Musicality and interpretation
Expression and presence
...and on how all these elements come together.

It is not about simply learning lots of new figures.
It is about understanding more, feeling more and dancing with greater awareness.
How do we create tension?
How can music become movement?
How can a small change make a big difference?
How can we communicate more clearly as a couple and interpret the music together?

Through this intensive work, you may not only develop your Stage Tango - your tango as a whole can gain a new depth.
And yes: it can be physically demanding.
We work with focus, move a lot, get fitter - and have a lot of fun along the way.

Who is it for?
For Intermediate/Advanced tangueras and tangueros who want not only to dance tango, but to understand and experience it on a deeper level.

Unser 1. Tango Orillero Summer Day Retreat an der Donau war einfach großartig!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Tag voller Tango, Bewegung, Natur, Musik, gutem Essen, Wasser - und vor allem voller gemeinsamer Momente.
Und als wir uns nach 10 gemeinsamen Stunden schließlich voneinander verabschiedeten, waren bereits die ersten Anfragen für das nächste Retreat da.
Eines ist also klar: Es wird eine Fortsetzung geben!
Wer beim 2. Tango Orillero Retreat dabei sein möchte, darf sich schon jetzt bei uns anmelden. Die Plätze werden wieder begrenzt sein - wer zuerst kommt, ist dabei!

Our 1st Tango Orillero Summer Day Retreat by the Danube was simply wonderful!

We had an amazing day filled with tango, movement, nature, music, delicious food, water - and above all, lots of beautiful moments together.
And when we finally said goodbye after 10 wonderful hours together, we were already being asked when the next retreat would be. .
So one thing is certain: There will be a second one!
If you d like to join our 2nd Tango Orillero Retreat, you can already register with us. Places will be limited again - first come, first served!

Wir sind allen Gästen, die am 9. Mai bei unserer CONTRAPUNTO Milonga dabei waren, von Herzen dankbar. Gemeinsam haben wir einen einzigartigen Abend voller Leidenschaft erlebt. Ein riesiges Dankeschön geht an die fantastischen Orchester Malablo & Duo Double Wu für ihren atemberaubenden musikalischen Dialog auf der Bühne sowie an die wunderbare Viktoria Tsanava, die uns mit ihrer Stimme verzaubert hat.

We are deeply grateful to all the guests who joined us for our CONTRAPUNTO Milonga on May 9th. Together, we experienced a truly unique evening filled with passion.
